Ring Size Guide
Finding the perfect ring size is essential for comfort and style. Use our easy guide to measure your size and find your ideal fit with Prélude Jewelry.
1. Measure an Existing Ring
If you have a ring that fits well, you can measure its diameter to determine your size.
- Select a ring that comfortably fits the finger where you plan to wear your new ring.
- Measure the internal diameter (the distance across the ring’s inside) in millimeters.
- Use the chart below to find the corresponding ring size.
2. Measure Your Finger
If you don’t have a ring to measure, you can measure your finger directly. For the most accurate result, measure your finger at the end of the day when it’s at its largest.
-
Wrap a Strip of Paper or String Around Your Finger
Use a thin strip of paper or string to wrap around the base of your intended finger. -
Mark the Paper or String
Mark the spot where the paper or string overlaps to form a full circle. -
Measure the Length
Lay the strip or string flat and measure the length in millimeters with a ruler. This measurement is the circumference of your finger. -
Find Your Size
Use the chart below to find your ring size based on the circumference measurement.

4. Tips for Accurate Sizing
- Measure your finger when it’s warm; cold fingers can shrink slightly.
- Avoid measuring in the morning, as fingers can be slightly swollen.
- If you’re between sizes, it’s usually best to choose the larger size for comfort.
